The Atoka Police Department is asking for the help of the public as they search for those responsible for a fire that took place Sunday. Bicyclist hit, killed by deputy in Munford Thursday night

One person died in an officer-involved accident in Munford Thursday night. The Tipton County Sheriff's Office confirmed Saturday that a deputy was traveling on McLaughlin Road and struck a person riding a bicycle. Munford police searching for missing 13-year-old

The Munford Police Department is currently searching for a missing 13-year-old named Jacob Chilton. His grandmother, Linda Raymer, said he was last seen at about 8:30 p.m. on Friday and was wearing gray sweatpants, a white shirt, and high top Jordans. Couple charged with child abuse after drug bust finds their children living in filthy conditions

County budget includes funding for new animal control facility and raises for cops

The Tipton County Legislature passed a $152.9 million 2022-23 budget Monday night that includes raises for county employees, money for a new animal control facility and the same property tax rate as last year.
