The Atoka Police Department is asking for the help of the public as they search for those responsible for a fire that took place Sunday.

The fire department said they were dispatched to Walker Park for a structure fire inside the pavilion. Firefighters said a garbage can was intentionally set on fire in one of the bathrooms.

There were other reported damages and vandalism.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Atoka Police Department at 901-837-5302.

This is at least the second time a fire has been intentionally set at the park. In 2012 two 12-year-old girls confessed to setting the pavilion on fire, which resulted in an estimated $100,000 in damages.
