Tipton County is likely looking at a record-breaking voter turnout – here’s what else you need to know about election day

Tipton County Administrator of Elections Cindy Pinner said we're well on our way to beat the highest voter turnout ever a dozen years ago. More than 20K people have early voted, shattering 2008 record

Early and absentee voters officially broke 2008’s record for turnout Tuesday, the Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett reported. By the close of business Wednesday, 20,238 people had already voted in Tipton County. The previous record was 17,554.
