Several people were just indicted for crimes against children and the elderly

During the March 2021 term of the Tipton County Grand Jury several people were indicted for crimes allegedly committed against children and the elderly. Jason Michael Baber, 32, was indicted for three counts of aggravated child abuse and one count of aggravated child neglect. Brighton man charged with second-degree murder after dumping woman who’d overdosed

The Tipton County Sheriff's Office has charged a Brighton man after a woman was found dead at a local Dollar General store Wednesday. A Covington man died in an ATV accident on Feb. 13

The Tennessee Highway Patrol reported Charles “Chuck” Marcy Jr., 61, of Munford, died in an accident on Saturday, Feb. 13. Marcy was driving a 2014 Polaris RX8 northbound on Hazel Grove Road, near Hawkins, and hit ice on the roadway.
