Drummonds woman indicted in four-year-old’s 2021 death

A Drummonds woman has been charged with the 2021 death of a four-year-old in her care, the Tipton County Sheriff's Office announced Tuesday evening. Tammy Wilkerson, 52, of Milton Road, was indicted by the Tipton County Grand Jury for murder and child abuse. The child was in Ms. Wilkerson's care at the time when they were fatally injured. Mason mayor Emmit Gooden arrested for driving on a revoked drivers license

Mason Mayor Emmit “Dwayne” Gooden was arrested early Monday morning and charged with driving on a revoked license. Two killed in separate car accidents on Saturday

Two people were killed in car accidents over the weekend, the Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed. Officers were dispatched to an accident near Hwy. 14 and 59 just after 5 a.m. Saturday where a Chevy truck traveling eastbound on Hwy. 59 crossed the center of the roadway and hit a Chevy Malibu head on. Comptroller’s office charges former Brighton Booster Club secretary with stealing from the club

The state comptroller's office has charged a former Brighton Blitz Booster Club with stealing from fundraising events.
