Early voting was down 34.9% in Tipton County compared to 2018

Tipton County's early voting turnout for this election was 8,474, which is 34.9% lower than the early voting turnout during the 2018 midterm election. Early voting numbers are lower than the same time period in 2018

Tipton County’s early voting numbers for the first week are 45 percent lower than they were for the same time period during the 2018 midterms, the Tennessee Secretary of State reported Thursday. More than 20K people have early voted, shattering 2008 record

Early and absentee voters officially broke 2008’s record for turnout Tuesday, the Tennessee Secretary of State Tre Hargett reported. By the close of business Wednesday, 20,238 people had already voted in Tipton County. The previous record was 17,554.
