Brighton High School student charged with threatening to shoot up the school

A 14-year-old was charged with threatening a mass shooting, Brighton Mayor Stephanie Chapman-Washam said Wednesday. The Brighton High School resource officer became aware of a threat to "shoot up the school" made through Snapchat on Wednesday morning.
