Mariann Ross Cooper

December 23, 1931 – June 5, 2019 

 

Mariann Ross Cooper passed away at home on Wednesday, June 5, 2019. Mariann was born in Covington on December 23, 1931. She was the second child of five born to Johnnie Bryson Ross and Allie Mai Dunn Ross. 

She is survived by a sister, Sharon Ross Baxter, of Covington and a son, Jeffrey Lane Cooper, of Memphis.

Mariann worked at the Army Corps of Engineers, Memphis District, for more than 30 years. She retired in 1989 and spent a great deal of her time crappie fishing on White River in Arkansas, gardening and spoiling several Springer Spaniels.
