Harold “Wayne” Taylor

Mr. Harold “Wayne” Taylor,
80, of Newbern, passed away on
June 30, 2019. Mr. Taylor was a
mechanic for Taylor Auto Repair
and a member of the First Baptist
Church in Covington.
Mr. Taylor is survived by his
wife, Doris Jeannette White
Taylor of Newbern; his sons,
Chris Taylor (Pat) of Atoka;
Wayne Taylor, Jr. (Penny) of Kenton,
and Bradley Shane Taylor (Dana) of Newbern;
his daughters, Tami Woodley (James) of Dyersburg
and Leigh House of Medina; his brother, Jerry Taylor
(Carolyn) of Covington; his sister, Daythel Hill
of Texas; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents,
Samuel Alonzo and Bessie Vernon Taylor; by his
infant son, Greg Taylor; his son, Carl Fowler, Jr.
and by his brothers, Herbert and Stanley Taylor.
Services for Mr. Taylor will be held on Wednesday,
July 3 at 1 p.m. at the Maley-Yarbrough Chapel.
Visitation will be held from 11-1 p.m., prior
to the services starting. Interment will follow in
Covington Memorial Gardens. A memorial service
will be held on July 9, from 5-8 p.m. at Mt. Vernon
Baptist Church in Unionville.
