James K. “Jim” Bradley Jr.

James K. “Jim” Bradley, Jr., born June 3, 1949 in Memphis died October 26, 2019 at his home in Henning at the age of 70. Born as the only child to James K. and Donna Bradley, he graduated from Treadwell High School.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Dianne, three children, Sonja Castleman (Randy), Shane Bradley (Joi) and Selina Bradle; and 11 grandchildren who lovingly called him Poppy.
Mr. Bradley, an H & R Block franchise owner for 48 years, was also a retired BellSouth directory assistance operator with 26 years of service, where he was the very first male to retire from the traditionally female held position.
Jim enjoyed spending time traveling, devoting time to family and spoiling his grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Nov. 1, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. with funeral services held on Saturday, Nov. 2, at 11 a.m., both at Covington Funeral Home. Interment to follow in Magnolia Gardens Cemetery. Memorials can be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research or First Baptist Church Covington Building Fund.
