Cothran was a wonderful wife and amazing mother

By The Leader on April 9, 2020

Amanda L. Cothran
July 12, 1962 – April 2, 2020

Amanda L. Cothran, of Henning, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2020. She worked at World Wide Art Studio as a graphic artist. She later became a stay at home mother.

She leaves behind her husband, Darrell Allen Cothran, of Henning; her children, Mike and Julie Fuller, of Henning, Courtney and Clint Watkins of Covington, Justin and Amanda Gurley of Covington and Matthew Cothran, of Henning and nine grandchildren, Cody Hill and John Daniel Hill, both of Henning, Jasper Gurley, Caroline Watkins, Chase Watkins, Deanna Hill, Destiny Hill, Jordan Fuller and Dakota Fuller, all from Covington.

Amanda was a wonderful wife, amazing mother, and very companionate Na-Na. Her wish was to spread her ashes onto the roots of a Magnolia Tree and plant the tree. On April 8, 2020 her wish was granted. Ms. Cothrans children and grandchildren came together to put her to rest peacefully. As the tree was places her children stated that they loved her, as the tree loved water and sunshine. As the tree grows, they will too. As the tree sees the sunrise, they will too. And, as the tree prospers and reaches great heights, they too will. She will be able to look over her son in the Airforce and be there with him. A stronger person would be hard to find, because in her heart she was so kind. She was a very artistic woman. John 14: 1-3.
