Too cool for school: Students who attend the Crestview interim schools are out on Tuesday

Due to the extreme cold temperatures forecasted for Monday and Tuesday, Crestview interim schools will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 21.

• Crestview Middle School 6th-grade students who attend classes in the interim buildings will not report to school on Tuesday.

• Kindergarten through 5th-grade students iinterim buildings will also not report to school.

However, PreK and Special Education students who attend classes at Charger Academy and Crestview Middle School 7th and 8th-grade students will still have classes as scheduled, and buses will run for these students.

School leaders said the decision was made to prioritize the safety of students during this extreme weather. Closures at other schools, have not been announced.
