December 2, 1998

Well-known Jimmie Corder announced her retirement after 42 years with World Wide Art Studios in Covington.

December 3, 2003

The Covington High School football team defeated Greenbrier 20-6 in the state semifinals (above) to advance to the state title game.

December 2, 2008

Gov. Phil Bredesen announced that Covington had been awarded a litter grant $45,000.

December 5, 2013

Covington High School celebrated winning the SCORE prize, which is awared to a school for excellent academic achievement.
