A Millington mother, currently pregnant with her fourth child, was charged in a 13-count indictment last week.

Ashley Nicole Thomas, 28, was charged with aggravated child neglect (8 and under), aggravated child neglect, four total counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, criminal responsibility for rape of a child (four total counts), sexual battery by an authority figure and two counts of violating the child protection act.

The charges are connected to the case involving her boyfriend, David Henson, and a minor child in their care.

Earlier this year Henson plead no contest to two Class C felonies – sexual exploitation of a minor – and the Class A felony charge of rape of a child.

Henson was sentenced to a mandatory minimum 25 years, which will be served day-for-day, and two three-year sentences at 30 percent that will run concurrent with the 25-year sentence.

Thomas was named as a participant in the graphic sexual abuse which the child testified happened “literally every day” during a sentencing hearing in April.

Court documents show the pair allegedly abused the child from July 14, 2015 to Jan. 24, 2017.

Thomas’s bond was set to $75,000. She remains in custody at the Tipton County Jail.
