A 28-year-old man is dead following a domestic dispute early Tuesday morning, Covington Police Chief Larry Lindsey said.
Dispatchers received a call at approximately 5:30 a.m. reporting a stabbing on Rose Street. They found Danny Wakefield unresponsive.
“He was transported to Baptist-Tipton where he was later pronounced (dead),” Lindsey said.
Lindsey said there is a person of interest in custody, but he is not yet identifying the individual.
