First responders in Covington were treated to a free lunch today by King Cotton Cares, a charity initiative sponsored by King Cotton Auto Group.

“As we are all challenged by these scary times we realized your teams are on the front line,” said Dino Grisanti, president of King Cotton Auto Group. “King Cotton Cares would like to buy them lunch.”

Dozens of the city’s first responders received lunch today at King Cotton MotorSports from the food truck of Alex Grisanti, a well-known chef and the younger brother of Dino.

While the first responders were eating, King Cotton sanitized their vehiclesin its service department.

King Cotton Cares has donated thousands of dollars over the years to Tipton County Schools, Go Lucy Go, Carl Perkins Center and other charities.
