Seedco giving away backpacks, haircuts at back-to-school enrollment event Saturday

On Saturday morning Seedco, an organization which helps connects children to healthcare coverage, will host an event promoting fun and wellness.

On hand will be barbers and beauticians providing free hair cuts and styles, food, drinks, music and more.

Foreeta Yarbrough said organizers have stuffed 200 backpacks to distribute to children attending the event, which will take place at Seedco’s Tipton County office at 412 Alston Avenue in Frazier Park.

Participants can also apply for free health insurance coverage.

The free event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
