First Charger Alumni Music Fest to take place in Covington Saturday

The first Charger Alumni Music Fest is set to take place Saturday in Cobb Parr Memorial Park.

The event, which was postponed from its original date after the March 31 tornadoes, will celebrate Covington High School alumni and musicians.

The schedule is:

11:45 a.m. – Tonya Dyson

12 p.m. – Marissa Lashaye’

12:20 p.m. – Monique

12:40 p.m. – Jon-Ay

12:55 p.m. – Colliar Robinson

1:15 p.m. – Tayla Ray

1:35 p.m. – UD Trey

1:55 p.m. – Crestview Gents

2:30 p.m. – Tonya Dyson

3:15 p.m. – JessBless

4 p.m. – D’Angelo Davis

4:50 p.m. – JLake

5:45 p.m. – YNOT Ross

The festival was organized by Hallboy Entertainment and is open to the public. In addition to music, there will be food and vendors on site.

Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at Eventbrite. Gates open at 10 a.m.

In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the Ruffin Theater.
