Covington Mayor Jan Hensley wanted to share a bit of good news Tuesday: a new business is coming to town.
“During our [Finance & Administration] committee, we gave some property away … so we’re all in hopes of eating breakfast at Waffle House in the months to come.”
The Waffle House will be located on property adjacent to Home Depot, near Hwy. 51 South and Holly Grove Road.
Additionally, another business has recently moved and the city is in talks for the preparation of other new businesses.
“We know that Dynamix Physical Therapy has moved down closer to the Chinese restaurant in the shopping center north of town.”
Hensley said city leaders have been in discussion about utilities for the Southall Industrial Park and the housing development that will be constructed at the west end of Bert Johnston Road.
I heard yesterday (thursday) that Chick-fil-A is coming to Covington. True?
I think they are having a chik fila food truck coming to park daily. Don’t know when.
