Celebrate Munford returns Oct. 18 with cars, crafts and community spirit

By Echo Day on October 16, 2025

Downtown Munford will come alive Saturday, Oct. 18, for the 41st annual Celebrate Munford festival, a full day of live music, food, art and family fun. The event, which draws thousands of visitors each year, will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is sponsored this year by Collier Realtors.

The festival celebrates community pride while raising funds for three annual scholarships and numerous local grants. The downtown area will be filled with vendors offering crafts, art and food, along with children’s activities and live entertainment on the main stage throughout the day.

Opening ceremonies begin at 9 a.m., led by the Munford High School Marching Band, followed by a full lineup of live performances:

• City of Refuge – 9:45 to 10:30 a.m.

• Scott Cain – 10:45 to 11:30 a.m.

• Java Trio – noon to 1:15 p.m.

• Jack and the Fat Man – 1:30 to 2:45 p.m.

• Brian Johnson Band – 3 to 5 p.m.

One of the festival’s most popular attractions, the Celebrate Munford Car, Truck and Motorcycle Show, will take place at Munford City Park. This year’s show is sponsored by LSXceleration, Nice Tintz, Gonzo’s Garage, G&L Towing, Collier Realtors, Spirits of Atoka and Don Baskin Truck Sales.

Vehicle registration will be open from 8 a.m. to noon (in person, cash only), with judging beginning at 10 a.m. and the awards ceremony at 3 p.m. The entry fee is $25 per vehicle, and the first 100 entries will receive a commemorative car show T-shirt. Awards will include first-, second- and third-place honors in all classes and nine specialty awards.

In addition to the car show, visitors can enjoy the Art and Photography Show, browse local crafts and sample food from area vendors. Admission to Celebrate Munford is free, and proceeds from booth fees and sponsorships support scholarships for Munford High School seniors and grants for community organizations.
