Sheriff’s Office, Covington Police Department solve overnight business burglary

The Tipton County Sheriff's Office and Covington Police Department have partnered to solve an overnight business burglary. On Tuesday, Oct. 10 at approximately 11 p.m., TCSO deputies were patrolling businesses in Covington and observed a gray Dodge Charger driving southbound on Highway 51 without lights. Grieving family petitions for traffic light after deadly accident in Brighton

BRIGHTON - After another deadly accident, a grieving family is petitioning city officials for help with getting a traffic light installed at a dangerous intersection. Covington routs Liberty Tech to solidify playoff position

Normally they turn out the lights when the game is over. It took nearly 40 minutes to get all the lights on at Liberty Tech on Friday night. Once they did come on, the Crusaders (0-7, 0-4 Region) likely wished for a power failure. Covington PD investigating overnight homicide

Covington Police are investigating an overnight shooting that killed a 22-year-old. Officers were dispatched to Bluebird Cove at Loon Lane after gunshots were reported just after midnight Sunday. McCommon’s bond revoked after she contacts victim, tells him she’s pregnant

The former teacher charged last month with raping a 12-year-old was arrested for harassing and stalking a teenage victim. And, in a call recorded by police, she told the victim she’s pregnant.
