Sheriff’s Office, Covington Police Department solve overnight business burglary
The Tipton County Sheriff's Office and Covington Police Department have partnered to solve an overnight business burglary. On Tuesday, Oct. 10 at approximately 11 p.m., TCSO deputies were patrolling businesses in Covington and observed a gray Dodge Charger driving southbound on Highway 51 without lights. Grieving family petitions for traffic light after deadly accident in Brighton
BRIGHTON - After another deadly accident, a grieving family is petitioning city officials for help with getting a traffic light installed at a dangerous intersection. Covington Police are investigating an overnight shooting that killed a 22-year-old. Officers were dispatched to Bluebird Cove at Loon Lane after gunshots were reported just after midnight Sunday.
