Burlison man dies on Hatchie River after boat capsizes

A 59-year-old Burlison man lost his life when a 14-foot aluminum boat capsized on Wednesday, March 2 on the Hatchie River in Tipton County. Covington Lady Chargers roll to fourth straight district title

After a slow start in the first four minutes of Monday’s District 14 AAA girls' championship game, the Lady Chargers broke a 2-2 tie with a 14-2 run and never looked back in their wire-to-wire 50-28 win over Munford. The discovery of more than 1,100 rodents in a Family Dollar distribution center has led to a recall of food and other products

Covington plans for redistricting based on Census data
