A 16-year-old has been charged with threatening mass violence at Covington High School on Wednesday, the Covington Police Department announced. A Munford man has been charged with first degree murder and arson after a fire on East Drive Tuesday morning. Munford Police Chief Randal Baskin said firefighters were dispatched to the home at approximately 4 a.m. and found an elderly man dead in the yard. The man has not been identified by police.
