Voter turnout in Tipton County this year was 70.5 – the highest ever
Among the headlines this election was its historic voter turnout. During early voting, a record 21,929 people cast their ballots. Stephanie Chapman-Washam defeated former mayor Gus Smith to be Brighton’s next mayor.
