Grieving family petitions for traffic light after deadly accident in Brighton
BRIGHTON - After another deadly accident, a grieving family is petitioning city officials for help with getting a traffic light installed at a dangerous intersection. Covington Police are investigating an overnight shooting that killed a 22-year-old. Officers were dispatched to Bluebird Cove at Loon Lane after gunshots were reported just after midnight Sunday. There will be a candlelight vigil Wednesday evening to honor the life of a young woman killed in a mass shooting in Covington Saturday night.
