Meet Anna Pond, The Leader’s new sales representative

By Jeff Ireland on August 1, 2023

Anna Pond wasn’t born in Tipton County, but considering her connections here, she may as well be.

Pond, who was hired as The Leader’s new sales representative on July 31, has lived in Tipton County for 13 years with her husband, Cory, and her two children, Ollie and Aubrey.

She worked as an insurance salesperson for seven years before joining The Leader and formed relationships with a lot of local citizens and businesses.

“I don’t really feel like I’m starting over because of all the people I have met the last seven years,” Pond said. “Since I have all those relationships, I feel like I can concentrate on the products we have to offer in the newspaper, our magazines and online.”

Pond grew up in Bartlett. After graduating from Austin Peay State University, she moved into her grandparents’ family farm in Atoka. Her family bought a house in Munford a couple of years ago.

Now she’s ready to get to know her community even better.

“I’m excited to build on the relationships I already have and develop some new ones as well,” Pond said. “I’m ready to be even more involved in my local community.”

She can be reached at 901-270-7766, 901-476-7116  or apond@covingtonleader.com.
