Helen Coulston Wright
July 8, 1936 – June 20, 2019
Helen Coulston Wright, 82, of Covington, passed
away on Thursday June 20, 2019. She was hairdresser
and salon owner in the Charleston community
and later in life became a pharmacy technician
at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Tipton.
She is survived by her daughter, Terri Wright
Sandlin (Hugh Milner) of Lakeland; one son, Baxter
(Kathy) Wright Jr. of Covington; one sister, Francis
Simpson of Covington; three granddaughters,
Breanna (Clinton) Francis, Melissa Sandlin (Brian
Rickert) and Annie (Jeff) Hoover; two grandsons;
Drew (Stephanie) Glass and Shea Glass; five greatgranddaughters
and two great-grandsons.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry
Baxter Wright; parents, James and Farrah Davis
Coulston; one son, Gregory Wright; one brother,
James Mackey Coulston Jr., and two sisters, Dorothy
Sartain and Peggy Sharp and one granddaughter,
Heather Wright.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. on Sunday,
June 23 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel
with interment in Charleston Cemetery.
