August 14, 1955 – August 5, 2019

Anne Matthewa (“Matty”) Bouck, 63, crossed

into eternal life on Monday, August 5, 2019, at her

home in Atoka, following a long struggle with cancer.

She was born on August 14, 1955, in Philadelphia,

Throughout her life, Matty lived in Pennsylvania,

Virginia, Illinois, and Tennessee, and she enjoyed

traveling to as many sunny beaches as possible.

She was the artist-in-residence and co-owner

of You All’s Country Gift Store in Atoka and an

active member of Munford First United Methodist

Church in Munford.

In addition to her many works of art, she is most

known for her generous spirit, sense of humor, and

compassionate heart.

She is survived by her husband of five years,

James “Jim” Bouck; brother, William Apfl; son,

Daniel Joseph Trevathan; daughter, Adrienne

Stricker; stepson, Michael Bouck; stepson, Gregory

Bouck, and stepdaughter, Amy Franklin.

The funeral service will be held at Munford First

United Methodist Church, 57 S. Tipton St., Munford,

on August 14, at 6 p.m. A potluck reception

celebrating her life and art will follow. In lieu of

flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s

Research Hospital.
