Covington baseball advances to seventh state title game

Covington running back Jamarion Dowell named a Mr. Football semifinalist

Covington junior running back Jamarion Dowell received a nice honor yesterday when he was named a Class 3A Tennessee Titans Mr. Football semifinalist. He is the first Mr. Football semifinalist from Tipton County since former Covington running back Marcus Hayes was named one in 2018. Covington’s Taylor Henderson competes in first golf state tournament

Covington junior Taylor Henderson nearly made it to the state golf tournament as a freshman, the year his teammate Scout Davis advanced and finished seventh.
