Tipton County Chief Deputy will move to school board as CFO

In a surprising move on Tuesday Tipton County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Billy Daugherty announced he would be leaving law enforcement. Tipton County's mask mandate, which has been in place since Aug. 5, will end on Wednesday, Sept. 30. Tipton County Schools scales in-person classes to four days only

On Thursday, the Tipton County Schools announced in-person learning had been cut back to just four days per week.
