Brighton Cardinals have a chance Friday to become first team in program history to make state
Brighton High School opened its doors in 1996 and has fielded 24 baseball teams during that time span. No team has ever made it to the state tournament and just one, the 2007 team, made it as far as the sectionals, the winners of which go to state.
