The Covington baseball team took a big step Wednesday afternoon toward advancing to its seventh state title game and winning its fourth state title. Brighton Cardinals have a chance Friday to become first team in program history to make state

Brighton High School opened its doors in 1996 and has fielded 24 baseball teams during that time span.
