Munford baseball looking to continue success after state runner-up finish

Thanks to TSSAA reclassification based on enrollment numbers, Munford baseball will be playing in a significantly better district and classification (3A to 4A) this year. District play will include games against state powers Houston, Collierville, Bartlett and Arlington. Munford baseball finishes second at Class AAA state tournament

Saturday's Class 3A state title game at Siegel High Schoo in Murfreesboro didn't go as Cougars fans and played hoped, but the Munford baseball team's postseason run will go down was one of the best in school history.
