House fire in Gilt Edge injures two people

Two people were hurt during a house fire Thursday morning, Gilt Edge Fire Chief Brandon Fletcher said. Firefighters were dispatched to the home on Kellum Lane at 8:07. When they arrived five minutes later they found heavy smoke and fire coming out of the front of the home. Burlison man dies on Hatchie River after boat capsizes

A 59-year-old Burlison man lost his life when a 14-foot aluminum boat capsized on Wednesday, March 2 on the Hatchie River in Tipton County. Munford’s River of Life Church destroyed in overnight fire

Munford's River of Life Church was destroyed by fire overnight. Fire chief Jeremy Reeves said the department was dispatched just before 11:30 p.m. and the building was already 75 percent involved. Firefighters battling large blaze in Brighton

Local firefighters are still battling a huge blaze in Brighton. The fire started just after lunch at the SP National warehouse, which reportedly house mattresses.
