BRIGHTON - After another deadly accident, a grieving family is petitioning city officials for help with getting a traffic light installed at a dangerous intersection. Two people were killed in car accidents over the weekend, the Tennessee Highway Patrol confirmed. Officers were dispatched to an accident near Hwy. 14 and 59 just after 5 a.m. Saturday where a Chevy truck traveling eastbound on Hwy. 59 crossed the center of the roadway and hit a Chevy Malibu head on. The Tennessee Highway Patrol reported Charles “Chuck” Marcy Jr., 61, of Munford, died in an accident on Saturday, Feb. 13.
