Active COVID-19 cases are at a 13-month low in Tipton County
COVID cases for the month of May 2021 were the lowest they’ve been in more than a year. According to the statistics provided by the Tennessee Department of Health, there were only 162 cases of COVID diagnosed last month. There were 179 cases reported in April 2021. Monday the state opened a new phase of vaccination, allowing those aged 65 and older to sign up. By 1 p.m. Monday, Tipton County had already seen nearly five inches of snow and it is expected to continue snowing through the late afternoon hours, bringing several more inches of snow.
