April 21: Confirmed cases count holds at 83

Tipton County's official count held steady at 83 Tuesday, a spike the day before being attributed to an outbreak at the prison in Mason. The number of confirmed cases hasn't increased, but the numbers of completed tests and recoveries has. In his daily briefing, Gov. Tipton County will likely see $1.87M in local government grants

This summer Tipton County is set to receive $1.87 million in local government grants from the state for one-time, local expenses for the 2021 fiscal year. “Capital maintenance, public safety and road projects don’t pause for disasters like the March tornadoes and the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Gov.
