Tipton County Schools extends closure feeding program

  Tipton County Schools will extend its feeding program, superintendent Dr. John Combs announced. First announced earlier this week, the district was able to provide lunches for anyone under 18 using food it'd already received from the USDA. Second positive COVID-19 case confirmed in Tipton County

Tipton County recorded its second positive case of the COVID-19 coronavirus Friday morning. The Tennessee Department of Health reported the positive result to county executive Jeff Huffman. Tipton County records its first confirmed coronavirus case

  Thursday afternoon officials with the state health department notified county executive Jeff Huffman that a resident of Tipton County had tested positive for the COVID-19 coronavirus. The health department will not release identifying information about the patient, but said he/she had recently traveled and has been placed in quarantine.
