The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Tipton County Sheriff's Office are investigating the fatal shooting of a local musician. At approximately 10:30 p.m. Sunday a shooting was reported on Old Memphis Road, in the Covington area, sheriff Shannon Beasley said.
