Week 11 Football Previews: Munford going for perfect regular season tonight

By Jeff Ireland on October 28, 2022

What: Munford (9-0 overall, 5-0 Region 8-5A) vs. Memphis Central (5-4, 4-1)
Where: Munford
When: Friday at 7 p.m.
Players to watch: Munford – QB Jordan Bell, RB Braxton Sharp, RB Jace Hodgin, LB Tristan Bohannon, WR Isaiah Cobbs
One thing to know: Though this game will not change the playoff outcome for the Cougars, you better believe they’ll be doing all they can to become Munford’s first-ever 10-0 team.
What: Covington (7-2 overall, 4-0 Region 7-3A) vs. Bolton (2-7, 1-4)
Where: Covington
When: Friday at 7 p.m.
Players to watch: Covington – RB Jamarion Dowell, RB Skylan Smith, DB A.C. Mason-Young, QB Braden Gover
One thing to know: After two straight weeks of playing teams in larger classifications, the Charger play a team their size this week. Expect the Chargers to roll and build momentum heading into the playoffs.
What: Brighton (3-6 overall, 1-4 Region 8-5A) vs. Southwind (7-2, 4-1)
Where: Brighton
When: Friday at 7 p.m.
Players to watch: Brighton – OL Matthew Parker, OL Nathan Hayden, DB Kyan Maher, OL Jayvon Lee, RB Ty Stark.
One thing to know: The Cardinals are out of the playoff picture and will be looking to finish off the season on a good note against a very good Jaguar team.
