These are just some of the headlines in the past few weeks for Tipton County Schools. We are only in the second month of classes and our students—and their teachers—are shining bright.
Let us not forget the many new teachers who have chosen Tipton County as their homes this year (still working on those introductions since there are so many.)
As I read their Q&As each week, one thing is clear, time and again: they’re each here to provide your students the best education possible and they are all happy to be here.
As a new mom, I find myself imagining what it will be like when my sweet girl is headed off to school and with those thoughts come all sorts of anxieties and worries, as I am sure is common for new moms across the globe.
But when I write these headlines, when I see the bright smiles of young students from Austin Peay and Crestview elementary schools as they are recognized for their hard efforts by the school board, I realize Tipton County Schools is exactly the kind of school system I want for my child.
I hope that you all are just as proud because from my vantage point, this school system continues to go above and beyond, using out-of-the-box methods to maximize the learning potential for all of its students.
Way to go, Tipton County Schools. I commend your continued efforts and I look forward to watching this school year unfold.
