Crestview is proud to announces its new principal, Dr. Christopher Morris.
Morris graduated from Union City High School in 1994 and went to Lambuth University where he graduated in 1999 with a B.S. in History/Political Science.
He then earned his Masters of Education in 2009; Education Specialist Degree in 2011; and Doctoral Degree in 2018, all from Union University.
Morris served as an assistant principal at West Middle School and Northside High School in Jackson before coming to Crestview.
He has received numerous community awards for his work with youth and young adults.
His background also includes experience in mental health and he has served at the state level for the Suicide Prevention Network.
Morris believes that all children can learn but are diverse in the ways in which they learn. He trusts that we can connect with our students and foster a love of learning through hard work and perseverance.
Additionally, he believes teamwork is the most important process that will determine school success while challenging each student to discover his or her maximum potential and the key to success is creating a supportive culture with open communication among staff, students, parents and the community.

My passion for education involves providing an exciting, rigorous and safe learning environment for all students.
