The Boys and Girls Club of the Hatchie River Region was recently presented a $10,000 MY.FUTURE Red Nose Day Technology grant from the Comcast NBCUniversal Foundation.

Covington Mayor Justin Hanson introduced the special awards presentation during the Tuesday, March 12 City of Covington Council Meeting.

“Thank you to Comcast for making a generous investment in our Boys and Girls Club,” said Mayor Hanson. “Without the help of private partners like you, the good work of organizations like the BGCHRR would be difficult, if not impossible.”

“Comcast is proud to present a technology grant to the Boys and Girls Club of the Hatchie River Region to assist in the launch of the My.Future digital technology program,” said Evangeline Parker-Guest, Comcast External Affairs Manager.

“We truly appreciate this grant and the new Comcast partnership,” said James Moore, Chief Executive Officer, Boys and Girls Club of the Hatchie River Region.

MY.FUTURE is a cutting-edge digital experience designed to teach digital literacy skills and introduce the endless possibilities that technology offers.
