Fifteen Crestview athletes will compete at state middle school track meet tomorrow

Crestview Middle School will be well-represented at tomorrow’s Tennessee Middle School Athletic Association state track meet.

Fifteen Crestview athletes will compete at the one-day event, which will be held at Austin Peay’s Fortera Stadium in Clarksville.

Kinlee Carver will compete individually in the girls’ long jump and Chrisyha Draine qualified in the 400 meters.

Carver, Katya Dean, Shakiya Wilson, Kamari Glass and Jakyeida Anthony qualified in the 4×100 and Brianna Mason, Carver, Draine, Dean and Jada Powell made the meet in the 4×400.

On the boys’ side, Ty Beard will compete in the long jump and 400 meters individually and Jayden McIntyre qualified in the 110-meter hurdles.

Three relay teams qualified: McIntyre, Daiquan Currie, Skylan Smith, Keshawn Thorne and Zamarion Burnett  in the 4×100 and 4×200; and Smith, Beard, Burnett, Thorne and Connor Leland in the 4×400.
