Wilmer Lee Prater
Date of Death – February 17, 2020

Wilmer Lee Prater, 90, a homemaker from Munford, passed away on February 17, 2020 at her residence. She was a member of Munford Church of Christ and was the widow of Willie Richard Prater.

She was also predeceased by her sons, Carl Prater, David Prater; daughter, Patricia Prater, sisters, Edna P. Lane, Frances Gray, Louise Smith and her brothers, Edward Byrd, Raymond Byrd, R.G. Byrd, and Malcomb Byrd.

Ms. Prater is survived by her daughters, Brenda L. (Delane) Lewis, Joyce Pennington, Carolyn Prater; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from noon until the service begins at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 20 at Munford Funeral Home-Munford Chapel. Interment will follow in Helen Crigger Cemetery.
