Sharon Kay Yates
December 19, 1946 – January 26, 2020

Sharon Kay Yates, 73, of Covington, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2020. She was a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, and her family considered her a domestic goddess.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy D. Yates; one son, Rowdy (Sabena) Yates of Greers Ferry, Ark.; two daughters, Angie Pinner of Covington, and Amber (Vassily) Samoussev of Atoka; one brother, Phillip Moore of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Jeanie Wages of Little Rock, Ark; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, L. T. and Lillian Jenkins Moore.

  Funeral services will be held at noon on Thursday, Jan. 30, at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Walton Cemetery.
