Patty Jean McIntyre
Date of Death – March 23, 2020

Mrs. Patty Jean McIntyre, 87 of Covington, passed away on the morning of March 23, 2020 at Covington Care Center. Mrs. McIntyre, the widow of Mr. John A. “Johnny” McIntyre, Sr., was a farmers wife and homemaker and member of the Charleston Baptist Church.

Mrs. McIntyre is survived by her daughters, Kathy McMahan (Jimmy) of Covington, Connie Francis (Mike) of Stanton, and Tina Glass of Covington; her son, John A. “Arnold” McIntyre, Jr. (Jill) of Covington; 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; and her caregiver, Mary Beard.

Mrs. McIntyre was preceded in death by her daughter, Patty Lynn McIntyre Means; her two sisters, Ione Flinn and Nell Harris and by her two brothers, Lloyd Harden and Ray “Buster” Harden; and by her parents, William and Erma Burr Harden.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 25, at 11 a.m. at the Charleston Cemetery in Stanton with Dr. Mike Melton officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorials be sent to the Charleston Baptist Church Building Fund, 8624 Hwy 179, Stanton, Tenn. 38069.
