Norma Jane Cochran Kisling Stinson
October 26, 1934 – March 4, 2020

Mrs. Norma Jane Cochran Kisling Stinson died peacefully at home on March 4, 2020, in Memphis, at the age of 85.

Norma is survived by her son, Michael P. (Joyce) Kisling, of Memphis and daughter, Pam Harrison, of Bartlett.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy Edgar Stinson; and brothers Robert Allen Cochran, William Thomas Cochran and James Charles Cochran.

Norma was born on Oct. 26, 1934 in Memphis, to Thomas Allen Cochran and Carrie Adell Henson Cochran.

She graduated from Tech High in 1952. She married Paul Arnold Kisling, her high school sweetheart Feb. 2, 1952. She later married Rev. Roy Edgar Stinson on June 19, 1970. She was a member of Point Pleasant Baptist Church, Buchanan, Tenn.

A celebration of Norma’s life was held at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 7, at Maley-Yarbrough Funeral Home, 1701 Hwy. 51 S. Covington Tenn., 38019 with Committal Service that followed at Indian Creek Cemetery. Chaplain Charlton Johnson officiated the ceremony.

The family asks that any memorials be sent to a charity of the donor’s choice.
