Date of Death – March 10, 2020

Mrs. Michelle Johnston, 52, of Covington, passed away on the morning of March 10, 2020 at Baptist Tipton Hospital. Mrs. Johnston, the widow of Mr. Tony L. Johnston, was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, worked for the City of Covington as a utility billing technician and was the former secretary of Crestview Middle School.

Mrs. Johnston is survived by her daughters, Jacquelyn Johnston of Miami, Fla., Kinsey Johnston of Covington, and Haley Johnston of Covington; her grandchildren, Anthony Grayson Myers and Izabella Benitez; her mother, Carolyn Sue Towe and step-father, Mark Duncan of Covington; her brothers, Cary Scott Perkins and Mark Nysteh; her sisters, Rebecca Perkins, Teresa Nysteh Deaville and Pam Nysteh.

Mrs. Johnston was preceded in death by her father, Carl Perkins and by her sister, Carla Sue Perkins Warren.

Visitation for Mrs. Johnston will be held on Saturday, March 14, from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Maley-Yarbrough Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with interment in Bethlehem Cemetery in Henning.
