John Alan Goforth
Date of Death – October 20, 2019

Mr. John Alan Goforth, 67 of Covington, passed away on Sunday, October 20, 2019. Mr. Goforth was a truck driver and member of the Holly Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Goforth is survived by his sisters, Gloria Covert (Cecil) of Covington and Jan Bringle (Steve) of Brighton; his nieces, Debbie Robinson (Joel) of Covington, Beth Bailey (Jesse) of Drummonds and Michelle Jones of Covington; his nephews, Will and Nick Bringle of Brighton and his great nieces and nephews.

Mr. Goforth was preceded in death by his parents, Fentress and Trilby Mims Goforth; his brother, Gary Goforth and by his nephew, Gary “Knobby” Covert.

Visitation for Mr. Goforth will be held on Friday, Oct. 25, from noon until 2 p.m. in the Maley-Yarbrough Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Indian Creek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be sent to the Holly Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
