Charles Clayton “Charlie” Coats
Date of Death – February 12, 2020

Mr. Charles Clayton “Charlie” Coats, 63 of Covington, passed away on February 12, 2020.

Mr. Coats is survived by his wife, Debra Rodgers Coats of Covington; his son, Shawn Turner (Vicky) of Covington; his mother, Glenda Faye Hartsfield Burns; his siblings, Janet Cross (Russell), Belinda Park (David), Lisa Jones (Wade), Sherry Goodroe, Alex Burns (Terri), Charles M. Coats, Jr. (Joanne), and Wayne Coats; and by his five grandchildren, Michael Fulmer, Christian Turner, Amber Turner, Jared Harper, and Tara Wilbourn.

Mr. Coats was preceded in death by his father, Charles Monroe Coats, Sr.  and by his sister, Alma Noland.

Funeral services for Mr. Coats were held on Friday, Feb. 14, at 1:30 p.m. at the Maley-Yarbrough Chapel. Visitation will took place from 11:30 – 1:30 p.m.,  prior to the services beginning with interment following in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.
